2. ENROLLMENT DATES

To process your student Visa (if needed) you will need a payment certificate. Therefore, for students needing a visa only the first period is of practical relevance since the processing of the Visa will take several weeks and thus registration in September is not an option as the course starts in early September.
3. ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE
- To start enrollment, a xxxx@alumnos.upm.es mail account has to be provided by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

- If the identification is a DNI, 8 numbers have to be introduced, without lettersor other characters.
- For NIE or residence cards, all the characters in the document, as they appeared in it, have to be introduced, except the final letter.
- For Passports all the characters in the document, as they appeared in it, have to be introduced.
PIN is the password:
- The Password refers to the University PIN. It is made up of 4 digits that can be obtained and modified in the Secretary of ETSI de Telecomunicación or throught Politécnica Virtual.
In case of problem, go to the Secretary of ETSI de Telecomunicación to solve the problem.
With the xxxx@alumnos.upm.es mail account the student can select the subject by itself through:

4. TUITION FEES
Tuition fees to enroll to the Master of Science on Signal Theory and Communications (MSTC) are officially set by the Council for Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Madrid. These are published once a year, usually in August, and are applicable for the course starting in September.
The complete program of MSTC has an overall workload of 60 ECTS.
The publication of the official prices for next course is expected in August.
As a guide for course 2018-19 pre-enrolment, the official prices for the current academic year 2017-18 (see BOCM 184 of August 4, 2017 at www.emes.es) are as follows:
(*) Pursuant to the Royal Decree 83/2016 and according to article 81.3 b) of the Organic Law 6/2001 of 21 December concerning Universities, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid establishes that foreign students of legal age, not having the status of permanent residents (with the exception of those coming from UE Member States as well of those covered by the community rules) will be charged the amount corresponding to the second and subsequent enrollment fees.
In this sense, the authorization for stay granted to foreign students according to Royal 557/2011, of 20 de April, approving the Regulation of the Organic Law 4/2000, of 11 January, concerning rights and freedoms of foreign nationals in Spain and their integration into society, does not imply the status of permanent residents.
